Every agency running Flock cameras

365 agenciesTransparency portals

Flock Safety publishes a transparency portal for every customer agency: how many cameras it owns, how long it keeps plate reads, how often that data was searched, and how many outside organizations can search it. Those portals are scattered across hundreds of addresses. This is all 365 of them in one place, by state.

Jump to a state

Across 34 states, 343 of these agencies publish a camera count, and those add up to 7,947 cameras. The rest run Flock and publish no number, so the true total is higher by an amount nobody outside Flock can state.

These portals carry no state in the source dataset. Most are Flock Safety’s own internal tenants — sales, admin, training — rather than agencies; a few are real departments whose state the dataset simply does not record. They are listed rather than quietly dropped.

Where this comes from

Every figure here was read from an official Flock Safety transparency portal by The News & Observer / McClatchy (private_eyes) and ingested unchanged. This directory adds no numbers of its own: an agency that publishes nothing shows nothing.
